✉️ Sending Letters to Credit Bureaus

When mailing inquiry removal or dispute letters to credit bureaus, follow these guidelines:

  • Use certified mail for tracking.

  • Include 3 forms of ID:

    • Valid driver's license

    • Proof of address (e.g. utility bill)

    • Social Security card copy

  • Consider getting documents notarized (optional but may help).

  • Follow the 4-Round Dispute Method:

    1. Round 1 – Send initial letter (wait 20 days)

    2. Round 2 – Send follow-up if no response (wait 30 days)

    3. Round 3 – Escalate if needed (wait 60 days)
